✨Tell about yourself a little bit. How did you become a photographer?
When I turned 40 years of age my personal life changed, but that was luckily also the moment that I discovered photography. I study photography now at ‘De Fotolocatie’ in Groningen, The Netherlands. This is the greatest thing I’ve done in my life so far. It is my passion and I do it with all my heart.
✨What has been the biggest lesson you have learned as a photographer?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned as a photographer is to really take a good look at everything and everyone around me. Just take your time, don’t hurry and then you can discover new things. The little things you see are precious and valuable.
✨What advice would you give to a young amateur photographer, who wants to take their photography to the next level?
Stay true to yourself. Stick to your own style that fits you.
✨In your opinion. What is a good photograph?
When you take a second look at the picture or maybe stay focused for a longer time when you first see the photograph.
✨How do you feel about social media today? Is it good for photographers, bad for photographers?
I think it is a nice platform to share and discover pictures and creative ideas all over the world. But I really love that photography and other art forms are also in museums and galleries where you can experience them live.
✨Are you open to collaborate with other photographers?
Yes
